From 2005 to 2007, Minister Jarosław Brysiewicz served as Deputy Minister of the Interior and Administration.

He also served as: an advisor to the Head of the National Security Bureau, an expert in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, Director at the Office for Organization of Finances and Controlling at the Ministry of Justice as well as Deputy Director at the Office of Director General, Ministry of Science and Higher Education. He has a University degree in law.
