Tomasz Chodor, a graduate of Opole University with an MSc in Economics (2002), completed a post-graduate course in security of information and communication technology (ICT) systems at the Warsaw University of Technology (2007). He holds the Certified Information Systems Auditor (2013) and Certified Internal Auditor (2012) professional certifications. In 2005–2016, as Chief Specialist at the Bank Inspection Department of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, he was responsible for a wide range of audit assignments in the banking sector. His areas of specialisation included audit of operational risk management processes, ICT management and data security management. Between 2013 and 2015, he was member of the Competence Centre for Operational and IT Risk at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Co-author of Recommendation D issued by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, on management of IT areas and security of the ICT environment at banks. Since March 2016, he has been Deputy Head of the Security Department, responsible for ICT security.
