Mr. Van Duren is currently Head of the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE) secretariat The GFCE is a global forum to exchange best practices and expertise on cyber capacity building. The aim is to identify successful policies, practices and ideas and multiply these on a global level. Since January 2014 Mr. Van Duren was one of the key persons responsible for the realization of the Global Conference on Cyber Space (April 16th and 17th, 2015 in The Hague). Between 2010 and 2014 Mr Van Duren was responsible for the realization of the: Dutch National Cyber Security Strategy (February 2011), Dutch National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) which became operational January 2012, Division of Cyber Security Policy, including national and international policy,Second Dutch National Cyber Security Strategy, which was released in October 2013.Mr. Van Duren holds a Master of Economics and Psychology.
