YVES LAGOUDE

Director of Strategic Planning and Business Intelligence, Thales - France

Yves Lagoude is currently Director of Strategic Planning and Business Intelligence for Thales Secure Communications and Information Systems global activities. Prior to this role, he was from 2008 to 2015 the Director of European Affairs for Civil Security for Thales, based in Brussels. His interests include critical infrastructure protection, cyber security, smart borders, civil protection and crisis management, and, in terms of EU policies and initiatives, the Internal Security Strategy, the Security Industrial Policy, the Digital Agenda, the NIS directive, the cyber security strategy, the Data Protection and privacy by design initiatives, and the cPPP for cyber security.

He represents Thales at the board of EOS (European Organization for Security) where he co-chairs or participates into several working groups, and at the board of the ECSO association (European Cybersecurity Organization), recently created within the frame of the cPPP.

Previously, Yves LAGOUDE has been the CEO of Thales information Systems

SA/NV, the Belgian branch of the Thales Services Division (2001-2008) and held several management responsibilities within Thomson-CSF from 1988 to 2000, in various domains such as industrial 3D simulation and virtual reality, Police and first responders command and control systems, energy SCADA systems, and telecommunication networks.

Yves LAGOUDE graduated from French engineering school Ecole Centrale de Paris and is a former auditor at the the HCFDC (Haut Comité Français pour la Défense Civile – 2011).
